Caring, Action & Connection

Ministries: Caring and Action

We live our values through service, practicing mutual care within our church walls and extending our hands to help neighbors across the wider community.

Quarterly & Ongoing Outreach

Every quarter, we partner with a local 501c3 organization—such as Animal Advocates of North Texas or CC's Carry Ons—to provide vital financial and community support.

We also maintain an ongoing partnership with NEED (North East Emergency Distribution), sending volunteers monthly to distribute food and clothing to neighbors in transition.

The Care Team

Our explicit mission is "Caring for each other in the Pathways community." We provide support during times of illness, grief, or sudden crisis so that no one in our family feels alone.

From friendly phone calls and cards to "Nook in a Basket" care packages, we foster deep belonging. We also maintain a sacred Reflection Nook at the church for private prayer and meditation.

Courageous Enough to Change

We provide a safe, completely non-judgmental space for the friends and family members of individuals struggling with addiction.

This support circle meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM via Zoom and is open to everyone, regardless of whether their loved one is currently in recovery.

Opportunities: Community and Connection

Spiritual growth flourishes when we create space to share meals, discuss big ideas, and discover intuitive paths of creative expression together.

Circle Dinners

We believe nothing establishes enduring friendship quite like eating together. These monthly potluck gatherings are held in members' homes and are open to everyone, especially newcomers. Guests are randomly assigned to different hosts each month to ensure we all get to know one another in a relaxed, social setting.

Pathways Arts Collaborative (PAC)

PAC is an open community group for members and friends who gather to create visual arts that enhance our spiritual sanctuary space. From church banners and custom lanyards to personal hand-crafted projects, we find deep joy in making things together and fostering collaborative mutual creativity.

Women’s Book Group

Meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 1:00 PM, this hybrid group explores a diverse reading list ranging from contemporary fiction to philosophy. We welcome all women, visitors, and newcomers to join us for vibrant discussion and fellowship.

Mystic Path

For those who feel a call to explore metaphysical, Earth-centered, or intuitive spirituality, Mystic Path offers a monthly gathering on the second Thursday at 6:30 PM via Zoom. Whether you identify as Pagan, Wiccan, New Age, Shamanic, or are simply a seeker, this circle explores intuitive "ways of knowing" beyond the rational, celebrating the magic and transformative power of nature and love.
